Oxy Geneo treatment – wet microdermabrasion

Until recently, facial treatments were predominantly carried out in cosmetic salons. Technology developed in recent years has produced medical equipment that is useful both for ladies and young girls with a normal skin, but also for those who suffer from cuperosis or rosaceae.

The Oxy Geneo device replaces in only 20 minutes, cosmetic treatments that would take hours and would require several weeks to complete. It combines microdermabrasion, creams, virtual mesotherapy and facial massage into a unique concept that uses the body’s natural mechanism to oxygenate the skin from inside.

This happens by triggering a body reaction that directs oxygen to the treated area, allowing optimal absorption of regenerating nutrients. Moreover, cleans and exfoliates the external skin layer.

The combination of skin oxygenation and exfoliation works together to re-energize, restore glow and create a nourished, balanced, healthy skin.

Practically, the treatment has two phases during the same session. First, a nutrient-rich gel is applied to the face, and a mineral capsule with abrasion properties will generate a gentle exfoliating process.

As the procedure proceeds, the mineral elements in the capsule dissolve in the gel, forming carbon dioxide, which in turn penetrates the skin. This process has the effect of reflex stimulation of the capillary circulation, which brings more oxygen to the skin.

The result obtained: optimal absorption of active ingredients in the skin.

Thus, Oxy Geneo  has three vital actions for the skin:

As a result, the texture of the skin is more refined and nourished, overall the skin is smoother and lighter, and at the same time balanced and shiny.

There are two types of mineral capsules that are used, being produced in Israel, a country renowned for cosmetic and aesthetic performance:

Neorevive

Dedicated to general skin rejuvenation, works to inject active nutrients into the skin that improve the balance and texture of the skin.

Your skin will look and feel smoother, firm, nourished and "reborn".

Neobright

Is an innovative combination of quality ingredients to nourish and make the skin brighter. NeoBright's delicate and highly effective formula infuses into skin natural emollients, hydrating and nourishing vitamins for the skin.

It's a great way to light up the skin and make it shine, while improving the texture, balancing the skin and obtaining a radiant, healthy glow.

FAQ

Oxygeneo is an innovative wet dermabrasion facial treatment (removing the dead skin layer of the skin), which improves skin oxygenation and at the same time delivers moisturizing and rejuvenating substances. The results are visible from the first treatment session, with patients receiving a cleaner, smoother, supple skin.

Oxygeneo combines 3 facial treatments in one device. Simultaneously, it provides a gentle exfoliation, oxygenates the tissues and rejuvenates the skin by delivering active substances at its level.

A special capsule designed for this purpose performs the exfoliation of the corneous layer of the skin, removing the dead skin cells, smoothing the skin and preparing it for the active substances contained in the serums used (active ingredients with antiaging and rejuvenating effect – NeoRevive;  ingredients for skin illumination and texture improvement – NeoBright). Oxygeneo also produces CO2 bubbles that create a physiological tissue oxygenation response, improving capillary flow and promoting optimal absorption of active ingredients.

The skin will be cleaner, lighter, more hydrated, the pores will be noticeably smaller; Oxygeneo also attenuates fine lines, rejuvenating and improving the texture of the skin.

NeoBright contains azelaic acid and kojic acid, with a role in improving and making the look more even, and retinol, with an antiaging role.

NeoRevine contains hyaluronic acid to reduce fine lines and wrinkles, peptides and retinol to stimulate collagen production.

A treatment session takes about 20 minutes. After that, the skin may be slightly reddish, but the redness disappears quickly after a few hours (1-2). It is a safe procedure for any type of skin, painless, and can be used even for sensitive skin.

A series of 4-6 treatment sessions are recommended, spaced 1-4 weeks apart; it can also be combined with other antiaging procedures to obtain the desired results.

Correction of dark eye circles with the help of hyaluronic acid, P.R.P or mesotherapy

The dark circles under the eyes represent an aesthetic problem for both women and men. Far from being the expression of a serious medical problem, in most of the cases they have an easy to solve cause: the blood in the capillary veins at the eye level is no longer flowing that quickly and as the vein blood is darker, it darkens the relevant area.

We are not talking about the dark circles that already include “folds” of extra skin. They require surgical treatment.

But for those that only darken the area there are highly efficient non-surgical therapies! We are talking about injecting a pellicle of hyaluronic acid that will interpose between the vascular structure and the skin, or about the improvement of the skin by mesotherapy procedures.

The latter mentioned can correct the excesive skin laxity, thanks to the remodeling major effects and to the stimulation/acceleration of the natural process of supporting fibers synthesis.

Thus, the skin re-becomes elastic, firm and tonified.

Mesotherapy means introducing, by microinjections, of a cocktail of substances, established by the physician depending on the needs and specifics of the patient, containing vitamins, minerals, amino acids, enzymes, hyaluronic acid, oligoelements, etc.

On the other hand, the injection of hyaluronic acid for correcting the dark circles must be carried out by physicians with a wide experience in this field, as we are talking about a delicate procedure that requires a lot of attention.

For a better correction, on the long run, this is associated with platelet-rich plasma infiltration (P.R.P., plasmolifting) of the affected area.

This will result in the regeneration of the skin tissue, affected in time by the poor oxygenation.

Mesotherapy presents minimal risks, and the side effects are low; small bruises or haematoma can occur in the laxity areas, or redness, local pain, burn sensation, pruritus, or a local minor allergic reaction.

Mesotherapy is an extremely important procedure during the antiaging treatments by correcting the unbalances related to this natural process, such as dehydration, lack of firmness, of elasticity and change in the skin quality.

It corrects defects related to texture, fine lines and wrinkles, uneven pigmentations, depressed scars restoring the integrity and the look of the skin.

FAQ

Dark circles represent a multifactorial pathology, being a challenge in the world of medical aesthetics. These are the result of a multitude of factors, such as face anatomy, changes in soft tissue, and changes in the skin. There is a wide range of treatments available, requiring customized therapy based on the characteristics of each patient.

The origins of the dark circles are causal factors that include both endogenous factors (anatomic features, sex, genetic predisposition, physiological aging, atopic dermatitis, cutaneous xerosis, etc.) as well as exogenous factors.

The anatomical features of each patient can cause infraorbital pigmentation due to changes coming with aging, loss of volume in cheekbones, retraction of the inferior margin of the orbital fossa and stiffening of the ligaments, resulting in deepening of the dark circles and their shading.

The thickness of the skin at the eyelid level is minimal, being one of the thinnest regions of the body, thus, through its transparency, allows the subcutaneous structures to be visible, a visibility that increases with the physiological aging by the loss of elasticity associated with a low production of elastin and collagen.

The first step in the management of dark circles is to establish the particularities of each patient in order to be able to choose the optimal treatment.

Q-switched Lasers

The Q-switched lasers are an efficient method for the treatment of dark circles that are mainly based on hyperpigmentation of the infraorbital area, being a safe option for the selective treatment of melanocytes with minimal touch of the surrounding structures.

In the Skinmed Clinic we use the Q-switched Nd: Yag laser, with a wavelength of 1064nm, which has the ability to act deep in the dermis, with a minimal effect on melanosomes, being safe to use even on the patients with dark phototypes (as opposed to other types of laser).

The treatment is painless, does not require anesthesia, the patient feels a pleasant, warm feeling at the level of the treated area. The recovery time is virtually non-existent, the patient being able to resume his / her daily activities immediately after the procedure.

PDL (Pulsed Dye Lasers)

PDL technology is indicated in the treatment of dark circles with an accentuated vascular component, acting by selective thermolysis at the level of hemoglobin in the tissue. PDL is recommended to phototype I-III patients, in general in a 3 session series, every 4-6 weeks.

Chemical peelings

They can be used either alone or in combination with other procedures in the treatment of dark circles. They are indicated for the patients with cutaneous phototype Fitzpatrick I-III.

Fillers with hyaluronic acid gel

It is one of the treatments most commonly used in dark circles management. It uses a hyaluronic acid gel, molecules with a very similar structure to those naturally occurring in the body, thus minimizing the risk of allergic reactions, and having a long-lasting effect, however without being permanent. By increasing the concentration of hyaluronic acid in the skin, the fillers have the property of revitalizing, restoring the volume of the skin while at the same time relieving fine lines and wrinkles. Dark circles treatment by injection of hyaluronic acid is an easy method. The filler will be injected at the level of the dark circles using a fine needle or canula after applying local cream anesthetics on the area. A treatment session usually lasts between 15 and 30 minutes.

PRP

PRP (Platelet Rich Plasma) or Platelet Thrombocyte Enhanced Plasma Therapy, also called Vampire Therapy, is an injectable treatment that is based on the patient’s blood. Platelets play a vital role in the tissue repair and growth process of newly formed cells. Thus, PRP stimulates collagen secretion, regenerates skin tissue, helping to rejuvenate cells. Also, growth hormones are released into the tissue, which amplifies the healing and regeneration process.

The blood of the patient is the base of the patient’s own blood plasma therapy so that it is harvested before the procedure with a syringe, under the most secure conditions. The blood thus harvested is introduced into a centrifuge which will separate its components. The resulting plasma, enriched with platelets, will then be reinjected, either by mesotherapy or by microneedling, into the patient’s skin.

The PRP used for cosmetic purposes is a safe procedure, with a very small number of contraindications for performing the procedure. The most common undesirable reactions are redness and mild to moderate edema of the treated area, which persist for a very short period.

Microneedling-Dermapen 4

Microneedling is form of mesotherapy that is carried out with the help of a specialized device, instead of the traditional syringe. The microneedling devices are transdermal penetration devices that have two effects at the skin level: a superficial reversible lesion that triggers a healing response with stimulation of collagen and elastin synthesis, and the second effect is the creation of multiple permeable channels for active substances applied to the skin during the procedure.

Usually 4-6 sessions of 4 weeks are required for optimum results; during the initial consultation with the dermatologist she/he will establish the treatment protocol.

Adonia – computerised facial complexion analysis

The use of photographs in the therapeutic practice of aesthetics has become a common thing. At Skinmed, however, we have taken it to the next level, using a device and technology based on artificial intelligence to analyze the skin of the patients.

Thus, FotoFinder Adonia combines professional documentation for treatment with a sophisticated skin scan tool.

The software-controlled camera helps us take more facial photos quick and easy.

adonia - analiza tenului - skinmed

Adonia visualizes pores, pigmentation spots including sunburn, wrinkles, redness and vascular lesions as well as skin uniformity. The results obtained are compared to those of people of the same age, gender and type of skin.

Adonia allows such a dialogue with the patient and offers the opportunity to explain to the patient more skin features and to select recommended procedures from the database.

These are then entered into a report and printed. In time they illustrate the progress of the patient with “before and after” photographs.

Regardless of the procedure the patient undergoes – the impressive photographs taken by Adonia progressively highlight the results of the treatments.

FotoFinder Adonia offers a wide range of products and procedures from which to select treatment recommendations. These can be customized according to the aesthetic procedure you need.

Injectable mesotherapy –accessible prices for your treatment and beauty

Injectable mesotherapy is a method aiming to obtain a face rejuvenation effect with the preservation of the natural aesthetic features of the patients. It will influence strictly the skin quality, without causing any volumetry and expressiveness changes at the face level.
Practically, the solution is recommended to the patients that want to undergo rejuvenation procedures, or preventive procedures, without using substances such as hyaluronic acid or botulinum toxin.
mezoterapia injectabila - skinmed

How does mesotherapy work?

It is a needle technique, non-invasive and not painful, carried out manually (with a syringe with a very thin needle) or instrumentally (by using specially designed medical devices – pen or gun).

The local anesthesia is not mandatory, the procedure being carried out depending on the patient’s tolerance to pain.

This presupposes the insertion at the mesodermal level, by microinjections, of a cocktail of substances, established by the physician depending on the needs and specifics of the patient, containing vitamins, minerals, amino acids, enzymes, hyaluronic acid, oligoelements etc.

The active substances are natural ingredients of the body tissues essential for the function of the same and actively participating to the cells metabolism, inducing the activation of metabolic means:

Mesotherapy is also used as a treatment in for dermatologic/aesthetic conditions such as: alopecia (hair loss), cellulite/localized adiposities (lipoma), stretch marks, dark circles around the eyes, post acne scars or regenerative therapy of the skin at the face, cleavage or palms level.

For each of these problems the attending physician drafts a therapeutic protocol, describing the used substances, the total number of the sessions and the sessions intervals (for example when it comes to cellulite there are necessary 7-10 session every 7-10 days, for epidermal regeneration 3-5 sessions every 2- 4 weeks). It is very important for the patient to return for maintenance sessions every 6 months -1 year.

By mesotherapy the excesive skin laxity can be corrected, due to the effects of important reshaping and the inducing/acceleration of the natural process of supporting fibers synthesis, thus the skin recovering its elasticity, firmness and tonus, with a true LIFTING effect.

The risks are minimal, and the adverse effects are low. Small bruises or haematomas may occur in the laxity areas, as well as redness, local pain, burn sensation, pruritus, or a local minor allergic reaction.

FAQ

Mesotherapy is a medical procedure that involves injecting various substances (pharmaceuticals, vitamins, minerals, natural or homeopathic extracts) into the skin. These substances are used to obtain various results depending on the problem we want treated (melting of fat cells, improving circulation, reducing fibrosis, stimulating collagen synthesis and elastin, promoting hair regeneration).

It has multiple applications: reduction of fat deposits, cellulite, stretch marks, hair loss, acne, scarring and rejuvenation (wrinkles, laxity, and hyperpigmentation).

Usually 4 to 6 sessions are required for optimal results; during the initial consultation with the dermatologist, it will determine the treatment protocol according to the problem being treated and its severity.

The results are seen after the first session, 2-4 weeks after starting treatment and will improve after each session.

After the initial protocol with successive meetings, it is necessary to return for maintenance sessions for preserving the results. The frequency of maintenance sessions will be determined by the dermatologist, usually 1 session every 4-6 months.

Before you start your skin is cleaned with an antiseptic solution and  an anesthetic cream is applied for 20-30 minutes. The treatment consists of injecting with fine needles small amounts of mesotherapy solutions. The procedure takes 20-30 minutes.

The skin is usually red, and small swelling and bruising may occur due to the injection that disappears after 2-3 days.

Vampire therapy (P.R.P.) – infiltrations for rejuvenation and alopecia

The search for rejuvenation methods is a continuous concern of the physicians and researchers worldwide. However, one of the most efficient therapies, to this end, is “right under our nose”.

Precisely, right in our own blood and that is why the method became known internationally as “Vampire Therapy”.

Used by the Hollywood stars for turning back the time, the treatment has been lately available in Romania, too.

It is extremely useful, as it activates the stem cells, it stimulates the fibroblasts with the collagen and elastin production, it stimulates the angiogenesis and accelerates the tissue regeneration process.

Thus, it is recommended for facial rejuvenation, skin wrinkles reduction, decrease of skin laxity, treatment of dilated pores and post-acne scars, or stretch marks.

The Vampire Therapy (P.R.P.) represents a medical rejuvenation procedure (of the skin) by restoring its structure.

The method consists in taking (venous) blood from the patient and the processing of the same with the help of a lab spinner.

Thus, the red cells (erythrocytes) are separated from the plasma and, and practically, an autologous platelet-rich plasma is obtained.

These platelets are cells that contain growth and tissue repair factors, which area naturally released by the organism for healing the damaged tissue.

By the above-described method, we “artificially” make a concentrate by using a special test tube, containing a separating layer of gel, allowing only for the plasma with platelets to remain available and to be extracted by using a syringe.

terapia vampir dermatoestetica - skinmed

The growth factors represent the physiological tank of the body  that is the base of the tissues repairing processes.

The plasma thus obtained is re-injected in the selected areas, under the form of micro bolus, intraepidermal/intradermal, approximately 1 cm away of the other, fully covering the affected area.

The Vampire Therapy (PRP) is a safe and simple one, as there is no risk of allergic reactions or viral/bacterial infection as it uses the patient's own blood. The pain is minimal, the procedure being carried out after local anesthesia and requiring a number of serial sessions, established during the pre-therapy meeting. The maximum effect is obtained in 2-3 months and maintains for 1-2 years.

It is a new and expending procedure, new therapeutic indications being under search for exploiting this highly valuable personal biological material for the tissue recovery and regeneration.

The resulting plasma, enriched with platelets, will then be reinjected, either by mesotherapy or by microneedling, into the patient’s skin.

On average, a treatment session lasts between one and two hours, depending on the type of PRP administration (mesotherapy or microneedling). This includes both the 30 minutes required to harvest and centrifuge the PRP and the time to apply topical anesthesia as a cream / spray.

Generally, the results appear on average 2 months after initiation of the treatment; first, the patient will notice the hair loss stops and subsequent regeneration of the hair. After a series of 5-6 treatment sessions, maintenance sessions will generally be required to maintain long-term outcomes, generally 1 or 2 per year.

The recovery period is practically non-existent. Immediately after treatment, there will be redness of the treated area, but this usually takes less than 24 hours, in average 2-3 hours.

In rare cases, it may occur immediately after the procedure a low intensity edema of the skin, but it will soon vanish.

Depending on the pathology underlying the hair loss, your dermatologist will determine how many treatment sessions you will need. In general, a series of 5-6 treatment sessions are recommended at 3-4 week intervals.

The PRP used for cosmetic purposes is a safe procedure, with a very small number of contraindications for performing the procedure. The most common undesirable reactions are redness and mild to moderate edema of the treated area, which persist for a very short period of time.

During the medical exam, your doctor will determine if this procedure is indicated and safe for you. This is not addressed to pregnant women and patients with certain associated health problems.
