ADONIA PHOTOFINDER

Standardised photos with detailed analysis

The Adonia Deluxe Photofinder is an innovative method of recording and analysing features of the cephalic extremity (face, neck, upper neckline). Unlike other facial analysis systems, the Adonia FotoFinder Deluxe combines a thorough analysis of the complexion with standardised imaging before and after procedures (whether laser procedures, dermal fillets, mesotherapy, lipolysis, peels, etc.), which progressively shows the results of the treatments performed.

The high-tech software used allows us to visualise and analyse in detail the dermatological characteristics of the skin on the face, neck or décolleté, taking into account a multitude of factors (blood vessels, telangiectasias, diffuse redness, pores, pigmentation spots, fine lines, wrinkles, skin evenness).

The method is extremely easy, non-invasive, and does not require prior preparation. Prior to initiating the assessment, it is necessary to properly cleanse the patient, pinch the hair so that it does not overlap the area to be analysed and remove large jewellery. The patient is then seated, using a special chin rest for the imaging set.

UNIQUE ADONIA PHOTOFINDER FEATURES

Standardised analysis of facial tegument quality

The analysis of the images is done taking into account all the parameters mentioned above (redness - either diffuse or in the form of telangiectasias, pores, sunspots appearing after exposure to ultraviolet rays, expression wrinkles, fine lines - frotal, glabella, periocular, nasolabial, perioral, skin uniformity), allowing an objective overall picture.

Based on the collected data, a score is established for each parameter, which will be compared with a database containing patients with the same characteristics (skin phototype, age, sex). The images obtained will be stored, so that they can be compared with new records later.

Individualised report with personalised recommendations

The obtained score allows the recommendation of an appropriate treatment plan, including home treatment, in the form of cleaning, care and treatment products, but also a plan of therapies carried out in the clinic, personalized for each patient according to his needs and wishes. The recommendations can easily be centralised in a report that the patient will receive at the end of the analysis.

In addition to these scores, we can use this high-performance device to visualise the appearance before and after the use of dermal fillets or botulinum toxin.

Especially for patients requiring botulinum toxin injection, ADONIA has special software in which we can record static and mimic images of their faces before and after the injection. So we can accurately visualise the result of the treatment and whether further injection or possibly dermal fillets for residual wrinkles are needed.

Photographic image taken in a standardised way

The ultra-quiet, rotating camera records a series of high-resolution photos from standard positions at five different preset angles within a 180-degree radius (90 degrees left, 45 degrees left, 0 degrees centre, 45 degrees right, 90 degrees right). Two polarisation modes will be used, leading to a correct and complete documentation of the analysis surface.

The procedure only takes a few minutes. Afterwards, in no time at all, Adonia will analyse and process the pictures thus obtained, providing scores that will help us in recommending individualised treatments.

Photographic monitoring and facial analysis

In the case of non-invasive or minimally invasive treatments, progress may be harder to see with the naked eye after a single session. Adonia is a real help in monitoring progress, both during and after treatment, by visualising in a standardised way, through comparison of high resolution before & after pictures, even the smallest changes.

Which patients should undergo facial imaging?

The Adonia Deluxe Photofinder is a doctor-patient dialogue tool, to make it easier and more objective to explain each patient's needs and to facilitate the creation of a personalised treatment plan.

Anyone who wants personalised treatment and an objective assessment of facial problems should have this investigation. Following the qualitative and quantitative analysis the specialist can recommend dedicated treatment.

Everyone should carry out a detailed investigation of the facial integument, targeting problems such as facial redness, pigmentation, degree of UV exposure, presence of fine lines and wrinkles, with their quantitative grading, useful for further follow-up after the indicated treatments. The latter are personalised for each patient and with individualisation of the associated problems, whether we are talking about dermatological specialty therapies, daily care indications or complex minimally invasive therapies.

ADONIA takes a standardised photograph of the face with subsequent analysis of the images taking into account redness - either diffuse or in the form of telangiectasia, pores, sunspots appearing after exposure to UV rays, expression lines, fine lines - frontal, glabellar, periocular, nasolabial, perioral grooves, uniformity of the complexion, thus allowing an objective overall picture. On the basis of the data collected, a score is established for each parameter, which will be compared with a database containing patients with the same characteristics (skin phototype, age, sex). Only by objectifying the facial structural characteristics can a personalised treatment plan and a care protocol adapted to the objective needs be indicated.
