The VBEAM Pulsed Dye laser has been used for over 15 years for the treatment of various vascular disorders. It uses a wavelength of 595 nm, which targets hemoglobin, the main chromophore in the blood vessels.
Current technology offers increased efficacy and safety for treatments of various diseases, such as rosaceae, angiomas, telangiectasia and venectasis (dilated veins in the legs), ecchymosis, etc.
Several meetings are required, the duration of a session being on average for a few minutes, and the total pulse rate is determined by the size of the anatomical area treated.
An improvement is visible after the first session (in the case of superficial lesions) and after 3-4 sessions in the case of deep lesions (port wine stain angioma - angioma similar to a wine stain).
